We are very fortunate at this practice to have two absolutely wonderful practice nurses:

Christine Fowler Reg Nurse RGN Dip HE

Christine is currently enhancing her knowledge and skills by studying for her Advanced Nurse Practitioner Qualification. Once qualified, Christine will be able to assess and prescribe for people with minor ailments.

Our friendly nurses are very experienced in chronic disease management i.e. looking after patients with Diabetes, Hypertension, Coronary Heart Disease, Asthma, Women's health (HRT & family planning).

They also assist the doctors by carrying out all nursing procedures. Appointments can be made with them directly for cervical smears, blood pressure checks, travel immunisations, contraception, ear syringing, dressings and other procedures requested by the doctors. They can also be helpful in dealing with many other issues referring to the doctors as necessary.

We also have two other very experienced Primary Care Team based practice nurses who work part-time within our Practice on a regular basis.

Our administrator, Francesca Antoncino, has just completed her training to ebcome a healthcare assistant and is now qualified to offer blood pressure appointments, new patient health checks, pill checks and assisting in well woman and minor op clinics.

Sylvia Reid

Sylvia is a highly qualified Nurse Practitioner who has recently joined our team. Sylvia is able to see patients with minor ailments and is also able to prescribe.

Christy Best

Christy joined us earlier this year as a Practice Nurse.
